The Buildings & Grounds Committee is providing the following information to assist residents with their planned improvements before starting any landscaping or hardscaping projects.
In addition to requiring an Architectural Application from LHS many projects may require a Permit from Brick Township.
Additional points to know before putting a shovel into the ground for planting, patio building, tree removal or other projects…
Submit a requisition to Federal Irrigation for assessment / location of underground irrigation equipment. The requisitions are in the box outside of the rear clubhouse entrance.
As LHS has underground utilities, New Jersey Law requires that you contact New Jersey One Call at least 3 full business days before beginning work on any underground projects at 811 or 800-272-1000. This is a free service, which ensures safe digging, protection of underground utilities, prevention of interrupted services, expensive repairs, project delays and costly fines. Further information can be found on New Jersey One Call Website.
