Activities Coordinating Council

The Activities Coordinating Committee shall serve as an advisory, coordinating, planning and when necessary, an arbitrating body for all the social, recreational, cultural and educational committees and organizations of the Association.
So, what does the Activities Coordinating Committee, better known as ACC, actually do for Lions Head South? ACC is the hub of the wheel of activities that take place here at Lions Head South. Committees and Clubs, with the exception of Standing Committees, work with ACC to coordinate events in an effort to provide a variety of activities for various interests and budgets.
If this sounds like something you would like to participate in, your opportunities are endless. First you can be a core part of ACC by signing up to be Committee Chairperson, Co-Chairperson, Secretary or Treasurer. The core group of ACC holds monthly meetings with committee/club chairs to establish the calendar of activities and review the calendar throughout the year. In addition the core group holds meetings for all residents every other month.
Second, you can be a chairperson or a member of the numerous clubs/committees that work to plan and run our activities: Men’s Club, Social Committee, Travel Committee, Women’s Club, Hospitality, Welcome Committee, and the Women’s Golf Association.
Check out “Get Involved” on our Website and get involved! Our community is completely run by volunteers and you can be a part of what makes LHS so great.
