The Recreation Committee is excited to announce that sign-ups for Bocce will begin on Monday, 3/16 in the clubhouse from 9:30am – 11 am.  You do not have to have experience to play Bocce.   The cost to play is $10 per player.  You can sign up as a team of 4 or individually.  Bocce plays on Tuesday nights at 4:45pm, tentatively starting on 4/28.  If you have any questions, please reach out to Bob DeFeo .

Remember to " Spring Forward " by setting your clocks forward one hour this weekend! Daylight Saving Time begins, meaning we lose an hour of sleep but gain more evening sunlight. Hello Lions Head South… Here are your messages for this week… The following tickets will be sold tomorrow morning from 9:30-11:00 in the clubhouse: - The Country Club will be selling tickets at $10.00 each to win a $300 Visa Gift Card. Only 80 tickets will be sold. - The Women’s Club will be selling tickets at $10.00 each for their March 18th Bingo Lunch. Due to the amount of snow accumulated during the blizzard, the clubhouse and office will remain closed tomorrow, Tuesday, February 24th. All scheduled activities and meetings for Tuesday are canceled. Please be advised that if you plan to do laundry, make sure your dryer vent is cleared of any snow so it can vent properly. Good evening Lions Head South! Chorus Members , just a reminder that the first Chorus Rehearsal will be tomorrow February 16th at 1:30. For you movie lovers, Lucy will be showing the movie "LBJ", starring Woody Harrelson and Jennifer Jason Leigh on Sunday 2/22 @ 2pm in the Lions Den. The Finance and Insurance Committee will have their first meeting on Tuesday, March 3rd at 7:00 pm in the Conference Room. The Women's Indoor Shuffleboard league needs substitute players. 

All LHCC Golf Club members are encouraged to attend our first meeting of the year on Monday, February 16, at 7:00pm in the Lions Head Clubhouse. There is much to discuss as we near the start of the season.

The Recreation Committee provides activities for all the residents in our LHS community. We plan spring Bocce and Shuffleboard leagues, opening and closing pool parties, a dedicated Kid’s Day, and more. What is available for the residents?
