I am a currently the Vice President of the Board of Trustees of Lions Head South and have been on the Board for 5 years. During that time, I have also served in the capacity of President and Secretary. This year, I am the liaison to both the Architectural and ACC (Activities Coordinating Committee). As a Trustee, I have been responsible for coordinating the updating of our By-Laws, Rules and Regulations and Architectural Guidelines. Since moving here in 2007, I have also been Chairperson of the Community Awareness Standing Committee and served as President of the Singles Club for 8 years.

Originally from Clifton, I visited the Jersey shore since I was 7 and eventually moved to Ocean County in 1972. Despite living here most of my life, I am still considered a "Bennie".

Career wise, I was a fifth-grade elementary school teacher, I worked in Human Resources and advanced to a Regional Human Resources Manager for PATHMARK Supermarkets, I owned my own recruitment company and for the last 17 years of my career, I worked in Marketing for a non-profit human Tissue Bank. Educationally, I have a BS in Education from William Paterson University and an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

I have always felt comfortable in trying new things and have not been afraid to ignore the mentality of "that's the way we always did it." To move ahead, we need to move away from this hindrance.

My goal is to continue the Trustees' vision of looking toward the future by improving our facilities, our computer systems and the services and activities available to the Community.
